Position Summary:

AEI Corporation seeks a motivated and experienced Account Executive to expand its Pacific Northwest and Northern California presence. This remote-based role is ideal for a self-starter with strong sales instincts, territory management experience, and a passion for building long-term customer relationships. The successful candidate will work with an established book of business while identifying new opportunities in the contractor, multifamily, hospitality, and retail channels.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow sales in a multi-state territory: Northern CA, OR, and WA
  • Develop and execute a business plan to achieve individual and team revenue goals
  • Prospect, present, and close new accounts through phone, in-person meetings, and trade shows
  • Maintain relationships with key accounts while expanding into new verticals
  • Track leads, sales activities, and pipeline progress in the CRM
  • Deliver clear and compelling presentations to contractors, developers, and distributors
  • Stay informed on product updates, installation needs, and industry trends
  • Represent AEI at regional events, customer visits, and national tradeshows (approximately 20–25 travel days/year)

Requirements:

  • Proven success in B2B field sales, account management, or territory development
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently from a home office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong time management, planning, and follow-through
  • Comfortable with CRM systems, MS Office, and virtual presentations
  • Basic technical aptitude (ability to understand gas/electric appliance specifications)
  • Experience in HVAC, building materials, or appliance industries is a plus
  • Familiarity with reading technical drawings or layouts is a bonus
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field is preferred, but not required
